Somatic Expressive Therapy Workshop

Description:
If you're willing to find new ways to reduce stress and expand your self-knowledge creatively, this workshop is for you.
 
This experiential workshop will use elements of mindfulness meditation, body awareness, expressive arts and movement to help you see your concerns and emotions differently and empower you to move through them.
 
You'll learn calming and creative tools that are easily integrated into your daily life and begin to reclaim the wisdom your body has to offer.
 
This group will be limited to 12 participants.

Carmen Calatayud, LPC
Carmen is a psychotherapist and workshop leader who uses body-mind approaches and expressive arts to help clients experiencing depression, anxiety, addictions and recovery, grief, and chronic or life-limiting illness. Carmen is a poet and has a background in communications, including writing, editing, radio and voice-over work, and literacy advocacy.
 
Ricardo Villalobos, LPC
Ricardo is a bilingual psychotherapist and workshop leader who uses emotion-focused and mind-body approaches to help clients  experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, chronic health problems, grief, addictions and recovery, and career concerns. Ricardo has a background in organizational development, human rights advocacy and multicultural issues, and offers therapy in English and Spanish.
